Personal care: Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve symptoms of common colds, mild upper respiratory tract congestion and coughs. Sprinkle a few drops on a handkerchief, in a bath or on a pillow for additional relief. Massage into chest and back for a topical rub two to three times a day. Housecare: Dilute 50% with water in a spray bottle and use as a room freshener. A few drops can be added to water to mop floors or your laundry rine water. To remove grease marks on clothes, rub with a damp cloth moistened with oil.
